And, yes, you should just tell the guy you think he's cute. While some of us might be creeped out by it, I think the majority of us feel somewhere between flatterd and OMG a girl who doesn't play games yay!

i think that's valid. this guy is obviously nervous when it comes to girls, i noticed this on tuesday when we were in a restruant eating buffalo wings; his manerisms were just totally shakey. yet, with that in mind, i still get nervous and (inside my head) act like a 15 year old boy (but, i am apparently good at hiding my nervousness). is it safe to tell him i think he's cute, though, if i've only really hung out with him on several occasions with other people (and anytime i am alone with him, someone barges into his room because that's dorm life)? although i think he is really attractive, i think he's cute more on an intellectual way (his cynicism/dark humor resembles my own, and i was told by a friend that "i [he] met a cool girl [alexis] and am excited that a girl actually thinks i'm funny"). but, the problem therein is that i am like a guy when it comes to this stuff and don't know how to take that comment. apparently he thinks i'm cool, but would it be completely out of hand if i told him i think he's more than interesting and ( ... )

ben. you continue to make things seem much more easy than they are. i applaud you. and will take your advice as follows. you're right--the worse that could happen is he gets weirded out but i think i could eventually learn to deal with that...
