Has anyone seen the movie The Runaways? I'm not a K-Stew fan but I really kinda want to see it. I love Dakota Fanning for unknown reasons, think she's awesome, and love the band, too... hmm. Debating a day of movies tomorrow since it's the cheap day ($10 Tuesdays for the win!) and I want to see Despicable Me. What better way to wind down?

I saw 'The Runaways' when it first came out because I love Dakota Fanning massively for also unknown reason. I suspect she's secretly a more socially adept version of Rachel Berry. lol. I really enjoyed it though, they used the music effectively and the acting was great. You should go for it, and let me know what you think.

I saw it and loved it. It was very gritty but so believeable. Kirsten Stewart didn't even annoy me, because I think she did an amazing job as Joan Jett, and I can't believe I actually think that. Dakota was the complete standout, though, just so broken and talented and just... wow. I had to keep reminding myself she was only 15 when they filmed.

I haven't seen The Runaways yet, but I'm a huge Joan Jett fan so I really want to see it, Kristen Stewart being in it is totally turning me off to seeing it. Maybe I'll get over it.

Its ok I have a kid at work, his name is Dakota but I insist on calling him Puck. He's totally down with it too. He use to have a mohawk but they're not allowed to have them in school so he had to let it grow out and he definitely has the Puck attitude and his best friend totally acts like Finn. I'm waiting for a Rachel Berry to walk into my room one day so I can set them all up.
God I have issues.

That's how I felt too. I love Joan Jett. I love all sorts of vintage rock. Almost Famous is one of my favourite movies. But Kristen Stewart I just dislike soo much I was so put off about watching it. But I watched it, and it was really amazing and gritty and probably perfectly depicted. Go see it!
