[OOC] Daidara Metalworks
WHAT
Really simple. It's a metalworks place and Daidara will craft anything from sculptures to car parts to house decorations to weapons and armor. ...I have a feeling THAT'S what I'll be getting spammed the most for OTL
As he IS pretty much an NPC, he'll pretty much operate the same way as the Mod Shop in which there will be one entry that everyone can just go into. Yes actions are allowed but it's FIRST PERSON only. You'll just place your order and come back to get it later or something.
He can do customized jobs, but it might cost more depending on what it is.
Edit: After I realized the potential of getting SWAMPED with this guy THERE IS A LIMIT ON HOW MANY ORDERS HE WILL DO PER WEEK.
There is a max of five clients per week. If your character comes to him after that limit has been reached, he'll just tell them to come another time. I'll have a notice at the top of his entry.
Also, characters can only order up to two types of items at a time. This might make him have to fudge the payment, which is detailed below. But a character can order both a weapon and a piece of equipment at once. They can order five swords and one armlet and still be in the two types rule.
PAYMENT
Unless it's something unusual, the only thing required are Dreams.
The dreams will always have to themed by art/creativity/inspiration and must have your character using the item requested in some way. Choose your pick on the theme, but that object has to be in there and it better be good. He can be picky and if he doesn't like it he'll let you know. If your character doesn't know or tell him what it looks like, whatever ends up in the dream is what will come out. It just. Magically happens that way.
It also should be noted that even if your character asks for more than one of the item (for example 3 armlets), the payment will still be just one dream. The number of materials needed will increase, of course, but not the number of dreams. If it gets way big, though, he might bump it up. If your character asks for two different types of items, then the number of dreams will vary. It will depend on the types of items and how hard it might take for him to make it. In that case, the dreamer will have to dream of both items in the dream.
FOR CUSTOM JOBS:
The more complex it is, the more things Daidara will probably need and will request you to get some certain materials for him. This will also include certain types of embellishments that may require more work than could be done with the standard stuff he'll have. These can range to something simple to something dangerous, like the tooth of a desert shark or something.
Materials will only be requested for certain Custom jobs.
LOCATION
He'll be somewhere in the industrial district, but in an easy to access place. You can't miss the giant fancy artsy looking sign.
HOURS OF OPERATION
From 8 AM - 6 PM. After that he won't deal with you. He uses the rest of that time for himself :|
