There's really not much since. He IS an NPC in the game. One day he just found that he enjoyed making metalworks as arts, and for these weird kids, they're using it as weapons/armor in some weird TV world that he knows NOTHING about.
But he does sell them more for decorative purposes rather than actual functional use. They do work however.
[Personality]
Oh he's QUITE passionate about his metalwork. Diss it and he will not be happy. He also likes having new materials to spark his creativity and doesn't really question where the hell it comes from. He'll even do custom jobs!
He's not a bad guy, though. A bit obsessive with his works, maybe. Maybe. Can look a bit intimidating.

MAKING METAL STUFF LIKE IT'S NO ONE ELSE'S BUSINESS, YO. No really, that's all he does and can do. He really knows how to work that furnace.
