Anybody got bird control?

Too much into the habit of leavin' my window open. But yeah, they just flew on in and made my room their perch, as usual.

I guess it happened at home, too.

Do you know why they do that?

Definitely. There was a lot more than these guys, but still.

I seriously have no clue. It's like having a flock of overprotective stalker birds.

[He looks a little amused at that.] I guess if you knew why they were there, you could make them stop coming around.

It's not like I feed 'em. [Pause.] Unless they're peckin' the shit outta me. I'm no bird whisperer. Maybe I should call up a pet psychic or somethin'.

Maybe you are and you don't know it. [He's kidding. Mostly.] It's weird that they're not scared of you.

I'll add that to the list of possible latent talents I have. [Let's tease forever, Souji. He shrugs.] I've gotten used to it after a while. In a way, I guess I got a pet or seven without worryin' about the "no pets" policy in my apartment.

I guess I don't have any advice for you, especially if you don't want to kill them.

Eh, it's cool. Some cat-troll-girl is comin' over to see about chasin' 'em out. It doesn't work when I try to do that. They just stare at me like I'm the most entertainin' thing they've ever seen, which is probably true in the life of a bird.

Probably. Other than the flying, a bird's life can't be that fun.

No kiddin'. But I guess it depends on what kinda bird, too. Pretty sure the carnivorous ones have more fun.

Figuring out how to kill something without having opposable thumbs would take some time. Although it's probably instinct for a bird.

I think it's a combination of mimicry, instinct, and trial-and-error. Don't take my word for it. If anybody asks, you didn't get that info from me.

Are you worried about being wrong?

Nah, just not somethin' I should be sayin' for sure about. I know about as much about birds as I do about quantum physics.
