Headcanons
*Dave's Texan accent gets stronger if exhausted or drunk (lulz). Mostly it's unconscious.
*He unironically loves animals.
*Dave sincerely loves Hello Kitty, and has a worn-out plush toy of her hidden in his room. Not even Bro knows about it.
*He also loves Disney with Beauty and the Beast as his all-time favorite movie. He watches it whenever he needs to let out stress or if he's feeling particularly down.
*Dave has quite a lot of nightmares, and doesn't like to sleep because of it. If there's someone or something in the bed with him, he will snuggle and latch onto it until he wakes up the next morning.
*In Texas, he pretty much sleeps in just short boxers. It's too hot otherwise.
*Dave hates the cold and hates the heat. He prefers the temperature to be cool or warm.
*Music is an important part of him. It's like it's in his blood and soul. He can't stand silence, and will usually fill it with music or have an analog clock somewhere in the room.
*Dave is acutely aware of time, enough so that it's pretty unnerving that he can generally tell time without really having to look at a watch. He might glance at it for a more accurate reading, but he doesn't really have to.
*He's actually a pretty lonely kid; even in a room full of people he can feel like he's the only one in there.
*Arguably, Dave cares the most fiercely for his friends, literally doing just about anything to make sure that they don't get hurt or to get even one small smile on their face if they're feeling down.
*Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff is really just something random he does, and has a sketchbook hidden away with serious drawings in it. He's decent on drawing people, but his sketches of landscapes and cityscapes are amazingly accurate.
*Dave does more musically than just turntables, and is mostly self-taught. When he sings seriously, he sounds pretty nice, but it needs some training.
*He's awesome at breakdancing and ballroom dancing.
*When the shades come off, it means he's being deadly serious or he's REALLY FUCKING ANGRY.
*When Dave laughs hard, he tends to snort.
*He ironically/unironically makes music boxes and pocket watches with music. Dave has been making three, one for John, Jade, and Rose, but he's been a little too embarrassed to give it to them for their birthdays.
*Dave kicks serious ass at Devil May Cry and thinks Dante is the most bad ass thing in the entire fucking world. Dante comes pretty close to Bro in the hero/role model status. He's played the DMC games so much that he practically has the script and everything memorized.
*In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, he normally picks one of the swordsmen, Snake, or Lucas.
*He's a Metal Gear Solid, Fire Emblem, Prince of Persia, Pokemon, Digimon, and Assassin's Creed fan.
