What the hell am I doing awake - part... um, yea. part something.

Hmm, awake again. Body seems to be going into a rather strange hibernation schedule. I wake up, wide eyed and blinky at 3 AM, can stay awake until about noon, then pass out until around 5 or 6ish, then up and DYING for bed 3 and a half hours later. I mix valerian and star anise in my heat packs. Ends up smelling delish.
Have you tried Changing out a few bulbs in your house for plant bulbs (like in Walmart or Target or Aubuchon)? They help you get more Vitamin D & create more melatonin naturally.
