today was another beautifully windy day. i adored it. and you better believe we had almost all the windows open...including the patio door open. i wanted to see if phoebe cates would venture out. and she did a couple times! i think she's nearly written off the outdoors since being taken in as an inside cat. fine with us ( Read more... )

Well, everyone else said it already, but I was going to regardless...

... your place is awesome! The fireplace alone makes it living quarters o' goodness!

And the colors... mmmmmmmm... delicious. ;) Good stuff, truly.

thaaankss...the compliment definitely means something coming from a dude.

as for the fireplace- it was definitely one of the many big reasons behind us getting the place...have i told you about the time on our honeymoon when my husband lit a fire in there without making sure the vent was open? and how our town home smelt like a bbq pit for weeks after? haha, good memories.

i know i haven't [told you the story], but since you mentioned the fireplace, i couldn't help myself.

A question: Did you paint the place those colors, or did it come like that? Because if I walked into a place and saw the fireplace AND those colors, well, we'd need not look at ANY other place after that... WE'D! NEED! NOT!

So after the 'fireplace incident', were your husband's fireplace priveleges suspended indefinitely? Like, when you see him walking around with a box of matches, do you look at him sternfully and shake you head as he cowers in shame? Heh heh...

si, we were in charge of picking out the colors. danke! 'tis nice coming from a fellow graphic guy...who happens to be a dude. sorry i got all foreign there.

as for mark and fire. HOW DID YOU KNOW? hahaha...good joke. even mark liked that one. :D
