OK, y'all know things have been difficult for me lately. When I ran out of savings and had to sell the Mini, that was annoying, but I was prepared for it. When I reached the point where I'd been looking for job for a full year, I felt pretty lousy. But I kept on trying to move forward

Dear Ursula,

Our cat got fleas once. We washed all the clothes, cleaned the house, vaccuumed the carpets real well, got a flea repellent collar for the cat, and confined her to the house. And we bathed often. As fleas live on blood, and die without it, we maintained a daily or every two days vaccuuming ritual for about three weeks. Then, all the fleas (including the opnes hatched from the eggs of the first generation) were gone. Heven't had one since. If you can be disciplined about it, it costs very little in $$.

And then you can write a best-seller about the experience, and never work again!

Thanks. The cats have been bathed and treated. I am attacking today with vacuum, carpet powder (special for fleas) and the washing machine. Have foggers in the house as backup.

I found that doing something was a good palliative for anxiety.
