Those that know me well know that I pretty much don't like beer. 95% of every beer I've ever tasted I've disliked. There are maybe 2 beers I can actually drink and like. I can tolerate Guinness but I shouldn't have to tolerate something I am willfully ingesting ( Read more... )

I'm like you, I don't like most beers. With my body weight, it takes a LOT of beer to get any buzz, and if I hate the taste, what's the point?

A couple weeks ago the "Strange Brewfest" was happening in Port Townsend. Microbrewers from all over came with their "strange" concoctions. I went to it on Saturday night and Sunday. I'm not a big fan of beer, but it was interesting tasting some of the different brews. There were probably about 60 or 70 different ones and some of them were pretty strange! But I didn't find any that I can't live without.
