Yeah, just a few days ago some people were asking me about my favorite movies (because I said I hadn't liked Avatar), and after a bit of thought (because I'm mostly about the TV shows), this was the one I came up with. It's brilliant and everyone should watch it. (None of the people I was talking to had seen it - it's very sad that this movie didn't get wider attention, although I agree with you that it'll be remembered. Or at least I hope so, because it should be.)

One of my favorite stories in relation to this movie was after my friend saw it, he went to the bathroom and heard some Hispanic guy talking about it with his friend on the phone, and the guy said, "Best movie EVER, B!"

I love this movie too and I love the long shots--I am all about those anyway. I notice them and enjoy them when they are well done and love it if it makes me wonder how they did it. And as far as backlash, people are babies.
