I enjoyed all of them, especially The King's Speech and The Fighter. The only movie I saw that I didn't like was Black Swan; I thought it was pretty ridiculous.
The other one I saw, and I realize it's not the same, you know, caliber of film or whatever, was Unstoppable. At first I mostly just wanted to see it because I think Chris Pine is hot, but I ended up enormously enjoying it as a movie, period, regardless of Chris Pine's presence in it. I always enjoy movies about competent dudes being confident, for one thing, but I also thought it was unexpectedly funny and sort of touching. Plus I like movies that are all climax, I guess.
I thought Black Swan was the strongest of those three. What exactly did you not like about it? What does ridiculous mean?
And there's nothing wrong with liking UNSTOPPABLE, Tony Scott can make some fine action movies if he settles down. But I wonder, how is a movie like UNSTOPPABLE less ridiculous than BLACK SWAN, or maybe, why is UNSTOPPABLE allowed to be "ridiculous" and not BLACK SWAN. Of course, this is all contingent on what ridiculous actually means.
