I love Subway's nutritional information sheet. They claim that their turkey breast 6" subs are only 280 calories but they fail to add the mayonaise, cheese, different breads, and any vegetables you feel like adding to it

Oh, my issue wasn't that it wasn't healthy. XD Just that they lie about the calories of their subs on a whole. Their sub seem to indicate nothing more than turkey breast and plain white bread. I'm not even sure because their numbers further down are still off.
When I order a turkey sandwich, I get turkey, cheese, lettuce and mayo. That's it. I've recently started putting on cucumbers and getting the herb & cheese bread but that's about as fancy as I get. And the people making the sandwiches automatically start putting cheese on the bread so you'd think they'd include it. And my sandwich is 453 calories. @_@ They should just list the ingredients instead of the sandwiches.
But yeah, like I said, my issue isn't "this is unhealthy" because it is. McDonald's has 800-1000 calories for one normal meal. 400-500 is normal for one meal.
Wow, that seems like such a cheap marketing move. This is kinda like that "Subway diet" ad campaign that aired back in the late 90s/early 00s. My favourite part was a Street Cents review of it, where they pointed out that the way that the diet worked meant you couldn't put on cheese or dressing, as they put it "Everything that makes the sub taste good in the first place".
I mean, I like subs - they're filling for the amount of calories and I go nuts with the veggies myself, so I'm getting that out of it too. I can see the problem with posting calories for the sub on an info sheet (I can't remember if they legally have to provide one, but if they do this is really underhanded because they're building an ad right in), because of the nature of sub shops. Did they at least warn that the information was for the most basic sub ever? Or did they even list the info for the other toppings?
