Yeah, the only thing I can think of for Val was a black dragon wing, or that little ball-clacker toy that he's seen with. The ball-clacker's obviously easier to iconify but I don't really think that it screams "Valgarv!!" Then again, maybe most Slayers fans would recognize it... hmm.

And yeah... rock. That's it for Zel. XD LOL. Poor guy.

yeah, Val is a little difficult to do, maybe also dragon or something, even if I think more about Phi when saying dragon

At least Filia can have a mace or her weird cone hat or something. XD Or even the heart shape on the tip of her tail... or a teacup... Man, I should have just made a shrine for her. :P Hahaha!

I might try a dragon if I can get it to work on a smaller level. Hmm...

I've been rewatching Slayers but the only thing that comes to mind for Zelgadiss is rock, fire, air.

Yeah... rock is all I can think of too. XD;;; I think of Lina more when I think of fire but air might work... I think I'm going to have to stick to "rock" though. I just hope I can iconify that to actually LOOK like a rock instead of a blob. XD

I was thinking of those because the thrust of his character is about transformation. On the surface it seems more about body. He wants to be human. But over time it becomes more about character I suppose. >_> It's been a lonnngggg time since I watched.

Oooh, I see where you're coming from. :D I think that definitely suits him, but I'm not so sure that'd work for what I'm wanting to do. Without going into too much detail, I'm trying to make an icon that is immediately identifiable for the characters. It was relatively easy for a character like Xelloss, because I could use the top of his staff or a cone (being that's what his actual form is). Even Lina isn't so bad, I could use fire or her Demon Blood Talismans. :| Stupid zel and val! argh!

Maybe some of the religious symbols that are shown in Try for Val? Or his weapon of light? The Garv plushie we all know he hides under his bed. *cough*

Oooh using his weapon of light might work. It might come across as a weird looking wrench though, but I'm gonna try it. :o

Oh.. oh my. *-*;;; I'm embarassed to say but it's been so long since I've seen the anime that I don't really remember what religious symbols are shown for him. Wow. *-*; I'm really gonna have to re-watch it.
