Omg, the length money goes in Korea vs. Japan. Moving to Japan FROM Korea must be a total nightmare for that. I got literally pissed off when I visited Japan last year and was always like "WHAT. THIS WOULD BE 300WON IN KOREA."
yeah its so true, my god! Whenever I am craving kimbap here I just have to try to forget about it because it is hard to find, I have to go a half hour on the train to Korea town and it's like 600 yen! just for a plain one that's been sitting out all day :/ Kimchi chigae is like double the price too and usually not spicy enough >
'want to get know as a person' - is probably the biggest reason why I am so fond of them XD not only japanese though, my korean friends are like that too
( ... )
That's true, they do generally try to understand you more instead of making a judgment right away~
I also like it when they figure out what you would prefer to do right away from observation. Not all of them are adapt at this though lol. Its like the Asian concept of "reading" a persons mood and adjusting to it, except add to that they observed your likes and dislikes before that. Americans tend to assume everyone likes the same things as them it seems.
But I must say, I have met a wide range of personalities here, not as similar as you may think. There are shy guys, bold guys, assholes and gentlemen, you have it lol. Honestly, I dated in Korea too and the guys there seem to make more assumptions about you and also try to move too fast if you let them. dangerous! They are pretty interested in just trying to get you in bed from my experience D: I had a couple bfs that weren't so bad but a lot of guys that tried so hard it was ridiculous D:
Well, of course there all different kinds, no one thinks they all act similar XDD there are quite a lot of assholes everywhere Well, now that you say it I started to think that maybe thats because Korean guys I knew didn't look at me as 'possible gilfriend' but as a 'friend' so I got to see other side of them, like.. inside side, so thats why )) Looking back and judjing from our conversations about their 'lovelife', you are probably right))))
