Probably too late to comment on my last post, but about my view. My last apartments in Asia had shitty views/ locations. In Korea, I could see the street and a fire station where the guys had this rooftop break area.. When they started staring a couple times I freaked out and closed my window more. Also, the fumes from the mechanic below were ( Read more... )

my apartment doesn't have much of a view either. It is a nice apartment though. Just there are so many windows and they are facing apartments, so people can always see me. It gets annoying. I always feel on display. Makes me miss american apartments.

I have always loved doing laundry. I haven't done it here, cause my mother in law hasn't shown me how to work the machine. So it is kind of a bummer that I can't do it here. But I do dishes on occassion. LOL I should probably try to wash them more often to help her.

It's good that you have at least one good view from your apartment and glad to see that you are settled in.

Seoul area has a lot of high rise places so i can see why you'd be blocked in. I hate feeling on display and it happens a lot here in Asia. Really really hard to blend in at any time and there are times when you just want to be left alone, you know?

Dude, my Korean laundry machine was weird and I didn't figure out where to put the laundry detergent for like 6 months, I was just throwing it in lol. Nice that you don't have to do much housework! Yeah she'd probably appreciate it hehe. wait a minute..mother in law.. did you get married? congratulations!

Yeah I got married in June. We went to the embassy and just did the paper thing. But yup I be a married woman now ^-^

It is so hard trying to communicate with my mother-in-law. She still scares me. lol. And I am still begging Roman to have her show me how to work the washing machine so that I can help out.

And I can't stand all these windows and such. And I am never allowed to close the curtains even if I am here by myself (guess I could but I don't want to get into trouble. She has so many plants against the window so it is near impossible to close). I just wish I could leave the bathroom not having to worry if my neighbors see me in a towel or whatnot. I am not a perv or anything, but I miss having naked time. LOL. When I lived alone I used to walk around in just a t-shirt or even just a bra and underwear. LOL I miss it so much. It is too annoying cause I always have to be aware of everything. I still sometimes forget, and change my clothes with the light on giving my neighbors a good peak at my specials. hahahaha.

congratulations~ I'm happy for you ~o~

The only Korean bf mom I met was a lot older.. I can only imagine it though, knowing Korean ladies are pretty strong personalities XD

Ah man I know what you mean, I like to walk around and try on different clothes and stuff in peace! I hate putting my clothes on right after I step out of the shower because its so sticky blahh
