Ha! I'm actually off today. And posting! Twice in as many weeks! But really, this year got off to a rocky start after all the trouble last fall what with the needing the new roof, new boiler, new tenants, etc, but now things have moved on and hopefully up ( Read more... )

Absolutely! Part of it, anyway. I have him do part of the data entry and I do all the data crunching. A year's worth of cash-business bookkeeping to digitize and make sense of. Just sorting the paperwork takes forever, nevermind all of the bits that are missing. No joke I have pages of algebra trying to determine which percentages of which amounts go to one account or another because I have gaps in my numbers and I am trying to work back from totals. It's a little bit of a nightmare, but I've made lots of progress.

LOL sounds like someone dropped the ball and is panicking with tax season coming up.

Exactly. I got the stuff 2nd week of Oct, and their year end was Nov 30, so I'm still a little behind. But I will get to keep the job afterwards, which is nice, and it will be easier to have everything organized my way and not have to do a year's worth all in one shot. They have a second one for me too, but I haven't started that one at all.

I entered a new tax bracket though, so that's no fun
