So I don't know if I posted on here about me DRIPPING water on my laptop, but it broke two of the keys. And one of them had to be the enter key! But anyways, got a new laptop now. It's super cool! It's an HP Pavilion zv6000, and it has an 80GB hard drive, 512 MB RAM, a widescreen plasma display, really good speakers (for a laptop) and a DVD

take off the keys where the water was (they pop off and back on) and dry it out the best you can with a rag or a t-shirt or something that might help, also get a windows cd and reformat it and reinstall windows, not only will this (mostly) get your personal data off it but also probably help it work better :)

ah thanks for the tip. I just bought a new laptop cause i was gonna get one anyway. And i dropped something on the old one also. Ha ha. I'd rather just sell it than dealing with it. :-D
