Ubuntu 9.10 FTW!!!

I finally got sick of everything being broken in my 9.04 Ubuntu install on my HP Dv6T laptop, so I formatted and installed Ubuntu 9.10 last night, and it works!! Like it perfectly works!! I had to install one driver for WiFi, but that was it. I'm really pleased with this. No sound issues or video resolution issues. I haven't installed the ATI ( Read more... )

Copy/paste used to break all the freaking time last I used ubuntu. Do you know how often I copy and paste things? Even just like URLs into chat windows and stuff?? Holy crap something that simple constantly bugging out and not working was just too much for me. Plus it's easier to play WoW running Windows. :-p

Yeah, I did notice copy/paste being a little flakey, but I thought it might have been me fat fingering the control button... :-\

I got DDO to run in wine on my previous ubuntu install. I don't play wow, but it's definitely easier to just run things like that in the intended OS rather than an emulator or VM.
