This is why I avoid fandom when it comes to this kind of thing. I ship one of the pairings, yes. But I don't see the other as invalid, or unpleasant. For me, it's simply a matter of preference. And I don't get how liking a pairing means hating other pairings, it makes no sense to me.

Because too many fans believe they are right and everyone else who doesn't support their opinions are wrong. Gratned I haven't seen much of these Bleach ship wars since I don't bother with fanfictions, but you make its fandom sound as loopy as the Supernatural fandomsecrets claim its fanbase is. D:
