[ Kisa steps into the lobby, rubbing her eyes. She's getting used to staying up later with a rambunctious Growlithe around, even if she still looks somewhat sleepy. But hello, Misaki! ]

[Misaki looks up from his PokéGear just in time to see Kisa walking in. He's surprised to see her so suddenly, but pleased all the same.]

Kisa-chan... [He seems to remember right about now that she doesn't speak, so he takes a moment to think about how to phrase his questions.] Are you doing well? I didn't wake you up, did I?

[ there's a sleepy nod to the first, and a shake of her head to the second. That would be the Growlithe trotting at her heels. ]

[Misaki kneels down--for once, someone smaller than him!--and reaches out to give the Growlithe a kind pat on the head.]

I'm glad, on both counts. Though you do look sleepy, Kisa-chan. Maybe you should go on to bed. We can play sometime soon, though. And I promised to make you something to eat, too, didn't I?

[Lookie here, there's a girl who's not sleeping on a bed. In fact, she's sitting on one of those sofa chairs and has her back against the wall. She's still sleeping though.

There also seems to be a big lump on Cocona's head that's covered by a lap blanket. If one would stare at it for several seconds, one could notice it twitches!

[Misaki looks up and is surprised! It's Cocona! Looking to be sitting about where she was when she had advertised her knitted scarfs. Only... now she's sleeping.

Misaki walks over, smiling. Hmm? There seems to be something... on her head? Something that's moving!

[Whatever is squirming under the blanket slooowly makes its way out of the blanket and pokes its head out.]

Pi! [Kuro STARES at Misaki with a OAO face and remains frozen like that for a long time...]

[Misaki jumps, but doesn't back away. Then he stares back... and begins to feel a little awkward.]

K-kuro-san, good evening....

It's nice to meet you, Ritsu. Kisa-chan mentioned having a cousin here. I'm Misaki. I met Kisa through the gear, if you were wondering.

At least you got there safely, then. [He smiles -- the background and music from his video shows that he's traveling on Route 30, so perhaps these two will meet soon!
There are voices in the background as well, showing that he's traveling with some others.]

Ah, Miles-kun! Yeah, I'm more or less in one piece. [He has a lot of hidden bruises and scrapes on his arms and legs--thank goodness for pants and jackets!]

Sounds like your traveling companions are all awake still too. Are you... having fun on the journey? [Misaki says this rather delicately. He's had his rough patches, so it wouldn't surprise him if this whole adventure thing was more of a bother than fun for a kid.]

That's good - you should rest at the Pokémon Center. It's warm and safe -- and they might have hot chocolate as well. [He'd developed a great liking for the ones at the Cherrygrove Center, himself.]

My compani--- oh, yes, them. Well... they're all older than me, so I'm sure their internal clocks won't make them go to sleep for a while. [He glances over his shoulder at the distant voices and shrugs.] It's rather awkward around them, sometimes, but I'm grateful for their presence.

Yeah, they're very nice and accommodating here. And I made sure to drink some hot tea, but hot chocolate would be good to have too. [It's a little hard to think of Miles as a child sometimes, but then cute little things like this slip into his conversation and leave Misaki without any doubt that Miles is in fact a child.]

Awkward? Oh, because one of them is a friend of yours that... happens to have suddenly grown fifteen years old than you, right? [Wow. That sounded pretty ridiculous coming from Misaki's mouth. It still seemed so bizarre...] Y-yeah, I'm sure it's fine so long as you're not out there alone.
