1) That Blizzard totally screwed up his character in WoW >:( I like him a lot. Firstly, it doesn't hurt that he's definitely the type of bishonen I drool over. ;D Secondly, I'm always a sucker for good people who join the wrong side / do the wrong thing for noble or altruistic reasons (like, I dunno, desperately trying to save your people from an all encompassing magic addiction). The fact that it's debatable whether or not Illidan's side is the "wrong side" just makes the moral ambiguity that much more interesting, and Kael'thas into a noble but flawed figure. You know, ignoring WoW

I don't know if you've been through my stuff, I've written lots of various things. I don't necessarily see that you have to disavow teh boobz to enjoy the yaoi. If there's Illidan/Kael, you've got to at least mention Tyrande and Jaina at some point, Arthas/Kael UST totally involves Jaina as well, and I've occasionally written Illidan/Kael/Vashj, snippets of Arthas/Jaina/Kael, and Malfurion/Tyrande/Illidan (which was a fine line for me since I don't like incest). I have snippets I wrote for P&K sitting in files that want to be real fics.

...and I'm working on writing Vashj/Maiev. XD

Er, sorry, to clarify, what I meant about enjoying the boobz too much is that I tend to only enjoy sex scenes/pairings if there is a woman DIRECTLY involved in the scene/pairing in question. So to me, it's not enough to mention Tyrande and Jaina in Illidan/Kael... I want them in there actually directly involved with the pairing itself (so yeah, Tyrande/Illidan/Kael/Jaina would suit me just fine ^^). That's why I ship Illidan/Vashj/Kael but not just plain Illidan/Kael... trust me, I realize it's stupid, and wish I could just turn that part of my brain off, but it seems I subconsciously desire boobs in my porn

Er, I explained poorly. Four years before the FIRST war. There were three. Thrall grew up between the second and third war (there's about a 20 or so year difference between them). Garona was an adult by the time she showed up to Azeroth, and it was claimed she'd traveled all over Draenor, which is why she made an ideal messenger/assassin. I like to pretend she's Gul'dan's daughter, because of it, but I fully acknowledge it's a pet fan theory

Second War, Part II: Ner'zhul opens the Dark Portal again, allowing new clans, like the Warsong clan, to travel through the portal, trying to deal with the humans. Meanwhile, the Alliance realizes that as long as someone can open the portal from the other side, they'll never be safe. They send an expedition of heroes (Alleria Windrunner, Turelyon, Danath Trollbane, Kudran Wildhammer and his gryphon Sky'ree) to find Ner'zhul and stop him. Meanwhile, the Dragonmaw clan, the clan that tamed the red dragonflight via the Demon Soul, an artifact created in ancient times. A group of heroes (Rhonin, Vereesa Windrunner, and Falstad Wildhammer) go to free the queen of the red dragons, Alextrasza. (in the RTS, it's your fucking huge army, and you kill the dragon roost representing her, but the book version is a bit nicer). Meanwhile, the Alliance is trying to deal with Alterac, since they've arrested/executed the royal family there as traitors. I'm sorry I haven't gotten anything for you recently. I promised a continuation of the story we've been kinda half-writing together after the whole foursome debacle and the subsequent fallout, and then I've just fallen flat on my face on that.
