YAY I too love those pairings, although oddly enough I find it hard to find any Illidan/Tyrande. I suppose it's because Tyrande is already in an obviously loving relationship with Malfurion the Dick and they're don't want to break it up. Fair enough, but since Furion has gone back to snoozing, I could see potential for Tyrande seeking some sort of comfort, especially if Kaldorei rules regarding sex/monogamy are different than ours.

Thrall/Jaina, though, is simply made of love and fluff. ^^

And Sephiroth/Aeris/Zack is, indeed, totally hot. ^^ I also would accept Sephiroth/Tifa/Cloud as long as it was a Tifa sandwich proper threesome and not OMG YAY BOTH LOVE CLOUD AND ONLY DO STUFF TO HIM. But mostly, I'd just sell my home for a selection of blistering hot Aeris/Sephiroth/Tifa. ;D

I still maintain that Illidan/Tyrande and Kael/Jaina are creepy stalker pairings (and Arthas/Kael is 'everything you can do, I can do better'...) but they both have potential. They're fun to write for the angst factor.

I totally get why Illidan/Tyrande would count as a creepy stalker pairing... dude, the guy's been locked up for ten thousand years alone, and he's STILL totally infatuated? Not sure about Kael/Jaina though, just because I haven't seen a great deal of canon regarding it (I've seen Frozen Throne up to the end of the Blood Elf campaign). From what I was given to understand, it wasn't exactly a stalkery thing or a long running obsession, more that he fell for her and angsted about what to do until she made it clear she was focusing on her studies. But perhaps I've missed some extra material.

And yes, I think both pairings have a lot of potential. I actually keep getting a random Illidan/Tyrande plotbunny that keeps attacking me... Tyrande find out from some random NE just returning from Outlands that both Akama and Kael'thas are in the process of getting their characters massacred betraying Illidan, and despite her better judgement goes to warn him out of a sense of sympathy and what might have been (I was originally going to have it

Well, the main problem is the presentation. Back in the day, I loved the idea of two princes fighting over Jaina's hand (subtlely, without her kicking either of their asses over it), but when Blizzard presented it as a 'poor little puppy being ignored' pairing, I felt it was distasteful, and that it went against some of the previous remarks, ie, Arthas asking if Kael was still mad about when he stole Jaina from [Kael]. That remark made me go omgwat?!

I always preferred a touch of tragic romance between Jaina and Kael (because apparently all half-elven children end in tragedy, and while sex =/= children, Kael is the heir to an ancient line, he's gotta have kids sometime).

Vashj is awesome beyond words. She is my favouritest person ever.

Ah, yeah, I can see why that would be a bit of a turnoff. That was the only story I was aware of and didn't realize they were originally implying something else. Although I suppose I can understand why an elf hundreds of years old would be somewhat reluctant to enter a relationship with a teenager, so some of the silent longing makes sense. And word on the tragic romance, not to mention the fact that Jaina will die a long time before Kael does

I LOL'd at this...A LOT! I've been stuck writing shitty speeches/outlines for a shitty speech class and no fanfic. I've been pretty miserable lately, but this cheered me right up.

Wait, I know! When I was a little itty bitty kid, I used to ship... get this... He-Man/She-Ra. Yep. I thought they were just the perfect couple, all cute and color coordinated and soooo affectionate with each other... only as I grew up could I look back and say, "Wait a minute... when did I become an incest shipper?"*pssst* I used to think He-Man and She-Ra made a cool couple too (though I was equally as found of She-Ra/Sea Hawk). I kind of realized how bad it was as I got older though. Shows our PFG link goes further than Hotaru/Sephiroth--LOL
