Help needed

Mar 03, 2009 18:22

I need a copy of Dune by Frank Herbert for my English class. I can't find my copy, so I thought I'd see if anyone out there has one I can borrow before I go buy another one. I need it quick, so I'll buy one after work tomorrow (Wednesday) if I'm not set to go pick one up from someone at that time instead.

I have an electronic copy, but it may be rather difficult to read because I've compressed the text. Is there anything I can help you look up?

If you need to, we can chat on YM, AIM, or MSN and I can wait to answer any questions or ideas you have and provide the necessary quotes in real time.

I'll keep this in mind...

But I will need more than just quotes, I need to reread the author's foreword as well as find text that supports my thesis about the movie. I lost my copy of the book when I moved in 2005, so it's been that long since I read it last (the longest I've gone without reading it since first picking it up in the 7th grade.)

The most unfun part will be watching all FIVE hours or so of the movie (I'm doing the newer one that follows the book closer) with pen and paper in hand. I need to start that tonight.
