I OWE YOU ORGANS. WHICHEVER ONES YOU WANT.

I'm pretty much permanently obsessed with The Fountain. I've watched it, transfixed, I don't even know how many times. And the soundtrack! Oh dear god. That thing can make me cry in ten seconds flat. SO BEAUTIFUL.

I'm so jazzed you'd even think to do this, and so beautifully. The Fountain is the most visually stunning movie I've ever seen. It's like 80,000 paintings shown consecutively, really quickly. But it also has that complex, layered, ambiguous story to make the images matter.

Gah. So much love.

And look what you did! What an amazing, unexpected spin to put on it. And seriously? The image of Misha floating in space meditating with all those spiffy tattoos does good things for me. God. Wouldn't Misha have been STUNNING in that role? And Jensen! He's luminous even when smeared with gore and shot in the dark. The thought of him (and the image -- your image!) of Jensen as the King and as Izzie, glowing brighter than the snow. WOW.

You? Rock hardcore.

Well, this is great because I'm running out of food, lmao.

This movie is so underrated. It's so wonderful. The music, the script, the special effects, everything is just perfect. I knew I was getting into a lot of trouble when I chose it. But I had to, it's just so good! And I was a little worried, I thought I would not find anybody in the fandom who had seen it. I'm glad I was wrong!

There's so much potential in it, I made more sketches than what I had time to finish. I could spend the rest of my life on this. (just added another one btw).
Misha would have been AMAZING in that role, he's able to carry so much emotion on his face, he would have rocked this role, not that Hugh didn't. lol
Thank you for your wonderful comment, you make me happy! :)

I'm back again, still agog. I'm curious: do you have larger and higher resolution versions of your artwork for this available online somewhere? I saved this all to my hard-drive a few years back, but your art is so beautiful and sensitive I'd love to gaze at larger versions.

These are lovely! They look great as a set - I love the progression of colour between the sequences, and the way the last portrait of Dean on his own has background elements from the first sequence and Cas and the tree, bring the story back full circle. The light on Dean's face, and his smile in that picture are very pretty. too. I like the costumes in the first section, and the expressions you've captured (Cas, in the final sketch, particularly). My favourite painting is the one where they are cuddled together and Cas looks a little sad and thoughtful, like he is trying to hang on to the moment.

Yes! Thank you! And for noticing those details too, sequence was important in my mind and I tried to make it obvious without having to explain it.
Dean's costume was so hard, there's so many small details but I had so much fun doing it. Those two are my favorite too!
Thank you for your wonderful comment!

OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. let me hug you.

The Fountain is one of my favourite movies and I can't seem to find people who watched this amazing movie and you just did Destiel art for it. It looks amazing. Actually when i read your description i assumed that Dean'd be Tom not Izzi but now I see this way it's more fitting. My favourite piece is where they are spooning as I for me the most heartbreaking parts of the movie are where Tom searches for a cure, comes home and sees Izzi sitting in the snow not feeling anything and everything happened after this part and the piece reminds me these parts.

Hugs back!

It's probably my favorite of all time! I thought I was alone too and I was afraid no one in the fandom had seen it when I picked it. You are not the only one who thought Dean would be Tom but nope, it fits Cas more.
that's one of my favorite scenes, I sketched more for it but I ran out of time. Maybe I'll finish a couple more when I have time.
Thank you so much!
