I've heard of a lot of people getting brought here from different worlds and times, and I'd heard there was a criminal organization here, but I didn't know they had people turn up and get "conscripted" like that - I think they might be responsible for some things that've gone on since I got here.
I'm not sure if there's enough evidence to tell if they're directly connected to how we all ended up here or not, since there's so many people that showed up in New Bark Town like me...
The weird thing hanging around is your starter - not sure what kind it is from that description, but they basically protect you and help you out.

Well, the law enforcement here seems ... uh ... special. Compared to my world.
Not in the good sense. I've been looking for what clues I can get on these guys, myself.
They have powers - my starter is a dog that breathes fire, I think I've seen other pokémon like what you just described in a couple haunted towers; if I remember right they could put things to sleep, paralyze them, and turn that lick into an attack. You can pick up more of a team as you go.
Are they restricting your movements any or paying close attention to what you're doing?
