[Snow sees her running toward them and his natural reflex is to jump up and get ready to fight. Oh, but wait... He can't fight. Not here. He's gotta let Machop do it.

He glances to the pokemon. Machop doesn't need any more prompting.

The first thing she'll hear (from somewhere vaguely off to the left of the path) is:] Machop, distract it! [Which, since Machop only has one move that does any actual damage, pretty much means Low Kick it into oblivion. While Machop engages the Pidgey, Snow will be jogging up to Kobato and her dog thing.] Hey, you okay?

[ Kobato and Growlithe stare as the Machop enters battle with the Pidget, before they glance at each other and then up to Snow in unison. ]

Y-Yes! ...Snow-san, that is?

He glances at Machop, who's wearing the Pidgey down.]

[ She's used to her name being mangled, Ioryogi-san calls her Dobato all the time. Worriedly, she asks, ]

[ Growlithe lets out a bark, and there's the cry of a Pidgey. ]

[ Softly, while a Pidgey is crying in the background. ] We're okay! Growlithe-san and I are just hiding.

[Here he comes to save the day, riding upon a fancy white horse---oh right, his horse isn't here.

The scream has his attention though, and he's not hesitating to show up running. Spotting the girl and Pokemon fleeing, Ren quickly glanced at his PokeDex to see what the bird was. Upon checking through what it's weak against, he smirked and darted between the escapee and the attacker, throwing out his pokeball.]

It seems I'll have the type advantage here! [A short flash of light later, a small yellow and black creature was standing there, charging electricity between the prongs on its head. Pointing at the Pidgey that still didn't look all that happy, Ren smirked.]

Elekid, use your electric attack!

[That was pretty cool right? Hands down, easy win and probably a caught Pidgey.

But not really.

All that pointing and shouting did was get Pidgey to blow sand in Ren's face and peck at the Elekid that was irritably swatting at it. Swiping the sand off his face with a bad tempered snarl, he stomped his foot when Elekid just gave him a look around the Pidgeys relentless attacks.]

HEY! Don't tell me you don't know any electrical attacks! You've been shocking me regularly ever since I woke up here!
