[ From offscreen, a deep male voice sounds, hushed. ]

That's right, Ellie. Bring it here.

In some respect, he thinks he might - it would be just as difficult to explain his dire need to find Ciel, had he not been lucky enough to stumble over the boy so soon. ] I wish you the best of luck in finding such an important person, then.

[ He snags Ellie by a paw to pull her close and stands her in his lap. Ellie tips her hat back from her face to look into the camera. ]

Yes. Her name is Ellie. As I've just arrived here, she is the only Pokémon I have at the moment.

[ Ellie peers for a moment, then beams, possibly in recognition of her name. ]

[ Sebastian smiles and tips Ellie's hat forward over her face, causing her to tumble out of his lap with a little squeak. ]

Eventually, yes. I'd like to explore the area a bit more before I do, however. There seem to be many different... breeds?

I've seen a lot of different kinds of pokemon, and a lot of them evolve into another kind once they've trained enough. And you can breed them too, though...I don't know anything about that.

[ Sebastian turns away slightly, rustling somewhere off-camera, and comes back with a book, which he holds up for her to see: A Guide to Pokémon Breeding. ]

This was in the bag I was given when I arrived. [ He glances at it, himself. ] I haven't gotten much of a chance to read it, but I intend to. Perhaps it will shed some light on the subject for me to pass along to you.
