[ Hello, Johto! Here's Sebastian, in what some may recognize as the kitchen of the Violet City Inn. He's making pancakes! The 'gear is clearly in Ellie's care, and after a few seconds of watching Sebastian tend to the griddle, she speaks up. ]

That's fantastic, Sebastian. You're quite the cook, aren't you?

[ He laughs a little. False modesty, this. ]

This is only what is expected of a servant of the Phantomhive family, but I thank you for your compliments.

Well, I think it's pretty impressive.

While you're at it, I've got a bit of a request for you.

Certainly; I'm more than happy to oblige. What is it?

There's these things called...[He has to pause to think of the name.] pain au chocolat, I think? There's a guy named Greed in Violet I'd like to give some to, if you can make some of that.

You're sure you don't want payment?

The pain au chocolat is a breakfasttime favourite of my young master, in fact. I'm quite familiar. Payment is wholly unnecessary; delivering within Violet is no trouble at all.

Would you like a personalized message to be delivered with it? And when would you prefer it be delivered?

Well if you say so, I'm not gonna argue. Nice of you to do this, thanks.

Hm, I guess just on Christmas. It doesn't need a message, he'll know who it's from. And if he doesn't that's his fault. [He shrugs, grinning.]

And just what would you like for Christmas, my dear Sebastian?

If I wasn't so far away, I would gladly offer up my mere presence as a present, but Johto is oh so cruel like that. I do, however, have the large selection of goods from the Goldenrod Department Store.

Cruel, indeed, Mr. Sutcliff. [ His voice is dry, and he pauses here. He's inclined to refuse a gift, but... why let such a generous offer go to waste?

Cue warm smile. ] Why, how very thoughtful of you - offering gifts to a mere butler such as myself. I'm afraid it would be improper for someone of my status to accept such a thing. [ He drops his eyes, casting a forlorn sort of glance down and away. ]

[ Perfect.

Sebastian glances up through his eyelashes at Grell, brows knit together in a parody of timid uncertainty. ]

... I suppose you were a butler, as well... [ Still playing it hesitant. ]

That is preeeeeetty cool and good on you, man. I'm not sure if I could think of any desserts I'd want or I'd take you up on the offer-- Wait.

I know.

Could I have a plain regular birthday cake, preferably made with Betty Crocker ingredients delivered to my friend masterofpranks?

[ He pauses, and makes a mental note to ask someone exactly what 'Betty Crocker ingredients' entail. Hooray for the year 1888. ]

I'm sure that can be arranged. I'll just need to know where he is, and when you'd like it delivered.
