[ The camera feed comes on with a jolt, and to the sound of moderate chaos. A man is shouting (though 'raising his voice' might be more accurate), sticks and bushes are cracking and crunching, and something large and deep-voiced is rumbling loudly. Close to the camera, a Pokémon's voice sounds excitedly. ]
Char! Meleo char char!

[Alois has never seen a pokémon like Ellie before she was HUGE. Like, like a circus animal! TODAY IS GOING TO BE A BETTER DAY THAN YESTERDAY.]
Oh! ...Amazing!

When Ellie's no longer between Sebastian and the screen, Sebastian eyes Alois and offers a chilly smile. ]
She is something, isn't she?

Enormous. As large as a house, Sebastian. How ever do you manage to feed that blasted creature?
[He lets the imitation fall and gives Sebastian a sunny smile.] Unless, of course, you've promised it Ciel's body after you've taken his soul?
[There a hint of bitterness in those words, for his brother, the one Sebastian left for Jim to find.] It's been some time since we've last spoken. You have something else of mine, Sebastian.

The only thing I have that belongs to you is another dose of spider venom. [ His voice is cold and deep with promises. ] I'll happily deliver it in time for breakfast tomorrow.

[The pieces begin to fall into place. Yet, the puzzle it was set upon was as corrupted as before. His face morphed slowly from that of misplaced bemusement to undisguised shock. It unfolded slowly, as his blue eyes growing wider and wider until all he could see was Sebastian's face in his vision. He shook his head hard enough for his hair for fall out of place.]
No... Claude - he wouldn't allow for something like you to - ["To hurt him" he wants to say, but he still remembers that night as if it were yesterday, still remembers that look in Claude's eyes as he let him slip into unconscious. ...But Claude wouldn't allow that. Claude still wanted him. Claude was still his. The conflict of never knowing for sure tore at his heart.]

A pity you made it through, I must say, but there's always another chance. We'll use more next time.
[ And a well-placed 'we' should seal the deal, he thinks. Let the boy think that Sebastian and his 'Claude' are working in tandem to put an end to his miserable existence. ]

[He's not sure how he was able to mutter the words or how he's still standing on his feet. Never had a single word carried so much pain. He thought he had seen the last of it, thought that after Claude there would finally be an end.
But it turned out that no matter what, he was just as horrible as Sebastian. He wouldn't believe it until he saw Claude with his own eyes and asked him directly. But Sebastian had a way with words, had a way of knowing Alois that always struck him as eerie.
He tried to keep his breathing under control, tried to keep his voice from trembling too much. He wanted to scream.]
Show him to me. He's there, isn't he?

If he wanted to see your filthy face, boy, don't you think he'd have contacted you, himself, by now? Don't embarrass yourself further.
[ The liberty of lying (and so well is a little heady, giddy. Despite the termination of their contract, Sebastian has had little occasion or need to lie to Ciel, and has not endeavoured to embarrass himself by trying. He's sure the boy is clever enough to suss out when he's being lied to, especially by someone he's kept so close for so long.
Poor Alois, however, has no such advantage. ]

The demon may as well have been in front of him, taunting him as he was now. He had to say something, he had to call Sebastian out on his untruths, but he had seen Claude with his own eyes, hadn't he? He sank into the mattress, feeling it close in around him. He finally screamed and fought to stand up, and fought harder to keep the gear in his hands rather than throwing it across the room and watching it shatter.]
Shut up! Shut up, shut up! Show him to me now! Make him, like you made him -
[you made him poison me, you made him stare at me with such awful eyes, you made him turn against me- ...Ciel. He needed to find Ciel. It was Ciel Claude wanted. It was Ciel that made ( ... )

It's corruption, and Sebastian welcomes it with a long, cold smile. How he's missed his mistress.
His head tilts fractionally, mockingly. ]
Made him? Why, I couldn't make him do a thing he didn't want to do. Surely you know that.
[ He's sorely tempted to cast his eyes down, hide behind a parody of shame and a veil of dark lashes, and profess in a murmur that Claude has been the one making him - but he won't push his luck. He's already unsure as to what the end result of this little meltdown might be. Best just to wait it out. ]
