gah!  fuck!  my external hard drive seems to have spontaneously broken itself!  fuck ball shit cock!  it's got all my music on it!!  oh man, i'm so distraught right now.

seriously, what the fuck?  it was working last night when i went to sleep and this morning i can't even get my computer to recognize it.  guh.  fun day of tech support to follow.

no, it's most definitely broken. it's still under warranty, though, so now it just remains to be seen if i can salvage the stuff on the disk. i've been getting by through the miracle of seeqpod. what a wonder it is.
