[Oh, look who's updating for a change! Shinjiro has never been the wordiest person, and the whole Shedinja event did nothing to help with that. But here he is! Looking slightly travel-worn, but then, with his generally sort of messy appearance, who can even tell?]

[PUPPY! Junpei likes puppies, and he likes Growlithe. He particularly likes Growlithe that aren't twice his size, because let's face it, Cujo is just not someone he can keep up with. Besides, he knows this puppy!! Yup, one excited barking Houndour, coming right down the street, hobo trainer-san in tow.]

[ Cujo is just really fast 8((( Pip has practice with that, though, because his Mama is a big Arcanine and trainer is bigger than him, too. But JUNPEI Junpei is awesome. He's so prepared for playing with Junpei, and he's bouncing up and down! ]

[Cujo is also HUUUUUGE but that doesn't matter right now, because Pip is just the right size and he's definitely up for playing with him. It'll be great!! Junpei is pretty much just... bouncing around as well, wagging his tail, whereas Shinji... looks upon this scene with wry, barely visible amusement. ...and finds himself wondering if there's a shota attached to this one, somewhere around here.]

[Well, this isn't as planned, but Junpei the Houndour is going to be hassled by Kana, a tiny Cleffa wearing a Sombrero and a fake moustache. What is she trying to do? Who knows, but she's dancing around him.]

[This will be followed by an exasperated Yosuke, out of breath from chasing her. He's not even sure when she got so far ahead but--]

Kana! What are you... You can't just go bother other people's Pokémon like that!

[Well Junpei found this pretty interesting at first, but now he's feeling a little dizzy trying to keep up with her and utters a put out whine. His trainer is standing by, watching the whole display. Nonplussed? Possibly. Not exactly thrilled anyway, and maybe sort of wrily amused.]

[Yosuke sighs as he finally catches up, scooping Kana up into his arms. She lets out a small whine herself, but it doesn't take much for her to go back into her normal state of swaying and singing little incoherent tunes. He looks at Junpei, then over to Shinjiro a bit apologetically.]

S-sorry about that. She's kind of... enthusiastic around other people. And Pokémon.

[ Watanuki is actually emerging from his own work, boxes of leftovers stacked high; it's a perk of working at a restaurant. Sadly, this means he misses the Houndour making a beeling for his legs.

Junpei! Get back here. [For a wonder, the canine listens. Whether or not it's in time is another question entirely, of course.]

Safe. Watanuki sighs in relief, re-securing his grip on the packages. He looks up, spots Shinjiro, and...pauses.

[...awkward, yep. For a moment, Shinjiro contemplates if he'd have let Watanuki fall, had he known it was him. In that moment of rather odd silence, Junpei sits down by his trainer's feet.]

[Aki didn't even bother answering the Gear, instead going out to find Shinji straight off. It's not hard to spot him, not with that hyper puppy.

But he just kinda... freezes when he does. it was one thing talking to a ghost on the fake internet, another to see him in person.

His Pikachu has no problem though, sloooowly waddling over to investigate]]

[Of course Junpei is as safe a radar for other pokémon as ever. Having recieved no reply from Aki over the 'gear, Shinji had eventually settled for waiting near the northern entrance of the city after getting to know the surroundings a little. He looks up from his perch on a flight of stairs when he hears the Houndour's excited barking, only to see him racing towards the yellow rodent.

...then he spots the trainer.

Rising wordlessly, he picks up his coat and backpack and walks over to meet Aki.]
