[After a loooong journey from Union Cave to Violet in the horrendous snow Ciel is glad to finally be in doors. He and Sebastian have been to the Pokémon Center to drop off their Pokémon for recovery and he'd just had a nice warm bath

[ Sebastian actually stands in the doorway for a moment before adopting a carefully casual stance, leaning against the frame with his arms folded. He masks his distaste with amusement. ]

I see you've made a new friend, young master. It's good to see a smile on your face.

[The smile disappears rather quickly as he looks at his butler, but then reappears with a hint of maliciousness.]

Come say hi Sebastian.

[He ruffles Growlithe's fur.] You know I used to have a dog named Sebastian, perhaps I should name this thing here that...

[ Sebastian's gaze darkens, but his smile remains, frozen now. Cagey, he debates his next answer, and eventually settles on one that might appease Ciel enough to prevent him from actually naming that atrocious beast 'Sebastian.' ]

... Ah, but it wouldn't do to have two dogs named Sebastian, now, would it?

[He looks thoughtfully down at Growlithe.]

You do make a good point.

[He picks up the Pokédex after a second pointing it at the pup. The cheerful monotonous voice trills off facts about Growlithe's in general before showing him the stats of this specific one.]

[Ciel chuckles slightly, the baby Growlithe happily back in his lap after bugging Sebastian. Seeing Pess on the screen she sits up happily and yaps. HIIIIIIII!]

Yes, we made it. It was quite the trip. Sebastian and I will be going shopping in a little while for winter supplies.

With this amount of snow, that would probably be the best idea. [With a sigh and a "why me" face, Edgeworth reappears on the bed, rubbing his head.] Ow...

[Pess is still happily barking at the sight of her daughter, her tail wagging excitedly-- and Pip pops his head into the screen as well with his usual round-eyed expression.]

Yes. I'll be purchasing some warmer clothing and likely some supplies for the Pokémon as well. Though we'll probably be staying in Violet a while. I don't have any plans to go anywhere just yet.

[Growlithe is wagging her tail in response and barks at the screen. Hey look it Mommy and co! She tries to press her nose the screen, but Ciel pushes her back down.]

[She knocks gently on his door before slipping inside, wearing her white summer dress that she'd received when she first arrived to this world. It was better than nothing, after all. She wore one of those medical cloth eyepatches, and her hair was down, still damp from her bath.]

Is everything alright, Phantomhive-san...? I heard noises.

And yes, there is indeed a puppy nestled on Ciel's bed. Ciel himself is sitting on the bed dressed in his nice new clothes, though their a bit uncomfortable. Modern clothing is nothing like what he's used to. And his eyepatch is on the bedside table for now.]

Everything is fine Miss Dokuro. I had picked up an egg from the Pokémon Center earlier, it just hatched. [He gestures to the Growlithe.]

Chrome lingers in the doorway, hesitant to approach in case she wasn't welcome, before finally summoning up the courage to close the door behind her--so the Growlithe wouldn't get out--and moves towards the bed. She clasps her hands in front of her, watching the puppy a moment]

Ah, you can just call me 'Chrome.' [She looks to him, cheeks a bit pink from being called 'Miss.'] A lot of people have had pokemon eggs lately... This is a Growlithe, isn't it? Do you have a name for it?

He sits up a little, now that there is someone else in the room.]

Very well Miss Chrome. [Totally missed the point.] It is a Growlithe. I haven't thought of a name for her yet. It seems to be a trend to name it after someone you know, and I can't quite think of anyone fitting enough at this point.

I received her as a gift from Miles Edgeworth.

[He then gestures to Sebastian's bed.] Sebastian brought back some clothes for you there.
