Like a fair amount of the women is his life, Canary seems to exist only to keep Raven in line. She tends to peck him on the forehead when he complains too much, or even when he's a bit too forward with the girls he meets. She means well, really - only looking out for him, though Raven does find it a bit exasperating sometimes.
Named for a woman he used to know a long time ago.

Raven managed to catch this Ledyba by accident. A walk on a sleepless night on Route 31, lasting into the early morning lead to a Ledyba flying into his head. And trying to nest in his hair (something he is still a bit wary about)... but even after he tried to shoo it away, it decided it wanted to stick with him. So now he has Angela, a very stubborn -- and very clingy -- new companion. Evolved into Ledian on November 10th.

Lassie was a gift to Raven from Sisuca, who caught her in the Safari Zone. She was acquired on October 17th in Violet City, and was pre-equipped with Surf. Lassie's a pretty easy-going Pokémon, preferring to relax a bit and take on a more motherly role for Raven's other Pokémon (much like her original trainer, it seems). He appreciates this -- it makes less work for him.
SKORUPI | ♀ | Marie | Lv. 18
Nature: Lax
Ability: Battle Armor
Moveset: Bite, Poison Sting, Leer, Knock Off, Pin Missle, Acupressure
Catching Marie was the case of being another unintentional catch; well, mostly. During his time in Violet City, he saw plenty of Pokémon, many the same. But just before leaving to head towards Goldenrod, he spotted this Skorupi, camouflaged in the purple-schemed city. It was compelling, so he went out of his way to catch her. He definitely doesn't regret it - Marie takes things in stride as much as Raven tends to, making naptime an entertained sight for passers-by.
