Ritz is trying to get Mathis, the newest addition to her team, to play nicely with her, and it does help that the serious Houndour sees a mostly-kindred spirit in his trainer. [Having Ritz's team - or most of them - suddenly mob him in an obvious panic definitely doesn't bode well - as much as he hates to admit it, he's been slightly dependent on her.]

[It's really the cue they were all waiting. Andre lets out another desperate, pitiful-sounding 'KAARP!' as Brenda turns on her tail and starts running for where Ritz is. Madeline is going to keep circling back and forth between Brenda and Kuja.]

I'm not sure - other than that something is wrong with Ritz. [He's glancing away - the pokémon have been keeping a good clip and considering some of the network posts, he doesn't like the sound of this; he nods towards where they're heading.]
