Guys.

Holy crap. Guys.

Look at this. [Ritz sounds kind of stunned, and looks like someone just ran up and smacked her in the face with Karma or Andre. ...And then she turns her Gear around to get a good look at her team ( Read more... )

[That Gyarados -- That's to be the result of his training Euphrates up. He takes note of this, pleased with what he's seeing, before appearing in a video response, posing the following question, his eagerness plain to see.]

How long did it take for you to get your Gyarados evolved?

A while- and man, did it take a lot of work! It's totally worth it, though, right-- eek! [Andre has decided he needs to return the favor Ritz did for him in carrying him around like some sort of scaly demented stuffed animal, and now he is- very carefully- cuddling his trainer.]

Looks like he's really grateful you put in so much effort for him. [a bit of a chuckle]

I think so, too. [Yep. Cuddly derp-dragon-ish-thing. She's going to pat him.] I'm gonna kinda miss carrying him around, though.

Carrying him around? [sounds like a pretty odd concept] Wouldn't he have had problems with breathing out of water? [he's realized that it's not a problem for them, just by what she's saying, but it doesn't hurt to ask anyway.

He might just let Euphrates out more often, then - He's certain it can't be too comfortable, being stuffed into such a small ball...]

Nope! One of the people I'm traveling with has another type of fish as well, and Karma doesn't have any problems breathing.

Oh, I see. I suppose I can leave my own Magikarp out of her ball for much longer amounts of time, then.

Yep! [Ritz is reaching up to carefully scratch at her water-serpent, who seems to like this treatment.] And the quick way to get a pokemon like this to evolve, if you have another, is to send them into battle and call them back so you can use a pokemon that can attack.

Oh, Euphrates can use Tackle, though, so it's not that bad. [he's aware that Magikarps don't normally have Tackle from the start though, yes]

Andre didn't know tackle when I caught him, so Madeline and Brenda had to help for a while. Catching another pokemon is still a really good idea, though. If something knocked Euphrates out, you'd be pretty much helpless to anything out there.

I've took that into consideration, too. That's why I caught a Pidgey shortly after reaching leaving New Bark.
