Personality: When you first meet Kazuki Shiranui, there is a high chance that he will be someone that you will never forget.
Kazuki is a leader. An outgoing, energetic spirit with such strong motivations and goals in his life. His general attitude towards others is quite positive, as he is a pretty friendly, laid-back kind of guy. Before he graduated, Kazuki has been the Student Council President at Seigetsu Academy, which is an all boys (and one girl technically) high school based on astrology. His speeches are very strong and well spoken, which results in freshmen becoming very intimidated with him. However, once you get to know him, he isn't really much of a scary guy. That is if you don't get on his bad side.
As the representation of the astrological sign Aries, Kazuki can be seen as to like a protective father or big brother figure to the rest of the Student Council and to his friends. Due to the hardships in his childhood, his emotional stability has transformed over time even if he wasn't too much unstable or crazy. Kazuki was born with the ability to see the future by star reading. After losing both of his parents in an accident when he was a small child, Kazuki blamed himself for their death. His powers have shown him the accident, but he couldn't understand them due to the lack of strength in his abilities. Even if he was worried, he did not stop his parents from going out that night. He loved and cherished his parents so much and losing them because of his power made him hate it. After starting to live with his humble uncle in the family shrine, who gives him advice every now and then, he started to seal off his emotions from others. This causes for him to get into fights a lot with other children. That is until when one girl younger than him stood up for Kazuki in front of a trio of boys who were about to attack him. This child was actually Tsukiko the protagonist, who told Kazuki that he had a weak heart who hides it with his strength. Despite that she was actually true, Kazuki called her weird, but he accepted her. The two grew a friendship and played together often, even with the addition of Tsukiko's other childhood friends. In this period of his life, Kazuki was actually happy and even fell in love with Tsukiko, making her someone that he wants to protect in his life. However, those days did not last for too long, as the trio returned and kidnapped Tsukiko, locking her away in a dark storage. Thankfully, Kazuki found her in time before she got any serious injuries. This event made Kazuki upset because he failed to protect something he deeply cares about, declaring to himself that he will never lose her like this again. He made Tsukiko forget all about him, assuming by his powers even if there is no other proof on how he erased her memories of their time together. Even if Tsukiko's memories of Kazuki in her childhood are gone, Kazuki promised to himself that he will always watch after her and never forget the times they had together as children. As he grew older, his uncle recommended him into Seigetsu Academy to find his goal in life and to strengthen his powers. At this point of his life, Kazuki started to rethink of his powers and find what he can do to make them useful for not only for himself, but for others as well. Things were going pretty smooth for him, but his first year had to be repeated. Not because of grades, but he saved a friend he made in his first year, who is Ooshiro Shirogane, from falling off the 3rd floor verdana of the school. Because Kazuki took the fall, he had to be hospitalized for two months and missing a lot of time for school. Ooshiro chose to stay behind a year with Kazuki on his own choice, most likely for gratitude for saving his life. Also in his freshman year, Kazuki gained the position as President of the Student Council, which helps him start on finding his goal.
Kazuki doesn't normally have any trouble when it comes to making friends, it's when he is trying to keep them protected. He fears of getting too close to people because he is afraid that he will lose them. Due to this, he rejected Tsukiko twice on his route because even though he loved her since childhood, he did not want her to get hurt because she is with him again. At first, he hated his powers because they have caused nothing but trouble in his childhood. His selfishness is one of his biggest weaknesses, as he risks his own health and life to protect those that he cares and loves instead of watching over himself. Other quirks that he has is that he always calls everyone by their first names with the exception of teachers and adults, as it's a way keep a friendly air around them no matter the situation. The Student Council was Kazuki's only family outside of his uncle and he wishes to keep them smiling, protected and happy. Even if they worry over him from his selfish and stubborn ways, they still support him as he became a role model and inspiration to them. He is the leader of the band while also the cheerleader on the side, keeping the rest of the council in high spirits and support them in every way. Even when he is still being that guy who is a protective, slight daredevil who is adventurous, outgoing, and positive on his choices, Kazuki believes that he can accomplish everything that needs to be done. Even if he graduated, Kazuki will never forget his family of the Student Council and promise them that he will come back to see them soon even during college or traveling overseas to increase his knowledge of the world around him.
All in a nutshell, Kazuki is a prideful leader type whose outgoing personality yet huge and reckless ego makes him protective of his friends and careless of himself.

So I guess this is a survival of the fittest thing here? No matter. I'm getting quite the hang of this. Kinda funny that i'm playing animal trainer instead of getting ready for college. [He laughs before pointing at the angry night bird. The Abra quickly stand up from it's lazy sitting position.]
Heh, can I keep the lizard fox thing though? I kind of like it even if I never have a pet before. Great listener and this-! [A snap of his fingers and sparks of electricity form from the hands of the Pyschic pokémon. The Abra charged up to the Hoothoot, punching it. One. Two. Three. KO'd!]
Haha! Great job, little guy. Come on. I'm taking you home with me.....Once I find out how that is. Homare and Ooshiro will get a kick out of ya once they see you. [And the two moved on, with the Abra teleporting on his trainer's back like a piggy back ride.]
Third Person Sample: Out of all of the terrible things in his life, this just add another load right onto his back. He snapped at that woman who said that he was her "mom" before she kicked him out of the house. Nobody in the entire universe will ever replace his own parents. Besides being annoyed about that, he slings the bag over his shoulder and looks around his surroundings. A quite little town that he has never seen before. Kazuki raised an eyebrow before something drops out of his bag. A Pokéball, rolling away from him.
He quickly scoops up the ball up, looking at it with a puzzling look. It looks like some odd item that would be fitting in Tsubasa's video games. From that guess, he believes that it must be worthless. Kazuki shrugs before tossing the ball behind him, going into deep thought. He is now a man on his own. No more school and taking care of himself now. How will Hayato do as the Student Council President now? Knowing him, he would be more stricter and things would be different than when Kazuki ruled the school with an iron fist and his white crows. People always ask him if a white crow exists and his answer everytime? Yes.
"Abraaaaaaaaaa?"
"What the-?" he turns around before finding a....lizard fox animal? What is it and the ball that he threw away is in it's hands? Kazuki kneels down to look at the thing. The Abra, even with it's eyes, still closed, looks up at it's new trainer. Both continue to stare at each other while the human psychic is confused.
"What......are you? You are not normal, that's what." The Abra levitated before him, which made Kazuki fall back in the surprise. He continued to stare as it floats and land on his chest....Okay, this is not only confusing, but awkward as well. He pats the Pokémon on his head. This thing......It's like it's the same as he is. One who can read the future and one that can float and probably do some other neat stuff.
"Alright, get off of my chest!" And at that command, the Abra teleports off of him and right back in front of him. Kazuki stands up, with that trademark grin, as he brushes himself off.
"Want to come with me? Follow my rules and we'll be set. I'm an easy guy, so don't worry if I am harsh on you."
And it teleports again. Right onto his shoulder, where the Abra lets out a sound of approval. "Great. Let's get going."
