I can't help but think that I wish I could raise all of my Pokémon from eggs.

I can understand why you'd want that. Still, I find there's a certain thrill in wandering out into the tallest grass and catching Pokémon by oneself.

I can't argue that. I'm honestly really enjoying training and battling, and capturing a new Pokémon is always exhilarating. Especially that nerve-wracking moment before the Pokéball locks shut.

Indeed. I want to get home, and there may be the occasional, er..."event" that occurs here, but most of the time I find myself rather enjoying being a Pokémon trainer.

My world is peaceful, now, too, but there are responsibilities I need to see to back home. My nation is rebuilding itself, and as a military officer, I have plenty to keep me busy.

[ She considers leaving it at that, but she does want to talk about it... and he isn't Squall, after all. Cautiously, she elaborates. ]

I... actually didn't have so many responsibilities, by the time I arrived here. I'd lost my instructor's license some time before. That's why I felt like I needed to reevaluate some things.

Whether I'll go back to teaching or not, and what I need to change or improve upon if I do, basically. They cited 'lack of leadership qualities,' so that's a start.

...I know how that is. I was once placed in command of my own team, and it didn't end well. I'm still not a natural-born leader, but there are some things you can learn.

That's comforting to hear. I know I probably have a long way to go to be reinstated as an instructor, but I also know it's what I want to do. I've never been happier than when I'm teaching.
