Fourth Shave: [Video/Action]

Sep 26, 2010 13:18

[Kisame is sitting outside the Pokécenter in Violet, with his Wooper and Octillery out. He's shunning the bench for the ground and seems to be using the clothesline that came in his pack as a jump rope for the Wooper. The tiny Wooper is looking tired but determinedly hopping over the rope each time Kisame and the Octillery swing it around ( Read more... )

Falkner uses flying types. Electric and...I think Rock-types have an advantage? I'm not sure if it's Rock or Ground-types right now.

As for the evolution, a lot of them change pretty drastically.

Flying, eh? Samehada's Aurora Beam has worked pretty well against the wild ones we've fought. What's the level of his squad, roughly?

[He tries again to detach the Octillery and fails. She loves him.]

...I wonder what Nuru will look like then.

There's three, ranging from 30 to 35.

...Nuru?

[He thinks for a minute or two but he sounds pleased.] Samehada and Hiramekarei are about that strong but Nuru will want a piece of the action too. Well, it shouldn't take long to train her up.

[And at that the tiny Wooper struts over proudly...and then hides behind Kisame playfully and a little shy.]

She's a Wooper.

[While Kisame may have decided against sitting on the bench, Itachi had promptly sat down, Growlithe by his side, and watched as Kisame trained Nuru. There's a small hint of a smile on his face, mostly due to Samehada's antics.]

Pidgeotto did not change much when she evolved. She simply grew in size and had a few physical changes. Perhaps it is different for each Pokemon on how drastically their evolution may be.

[Kisame nods at Itachi when he sits down.] Itachi-san, good afternoon.

[He tries to get Samehada off of him for a minute more before giving up. Why couldn't she have stayed a fish?]

Maybe it's just the fish that change so much.

[Nuru blows a raspberry at Growlithe and then scurries to hide behind Kisame.]

[Itachi nods back at Kisame's greeting.]

Samehada and Hiramekarei look nothing like they did before they evolved. Perhaps we will see if this is the case as we see more species. From what I've learned Growlithe cannot evolve without the assistance of a stone and Gastly is still some time away from evolving into his next form.

[Growlithe perks up at the raspberry and lets out an angry bark, showing off all of his sharp teeth to the little water Pokemon.]

I still don't know why you caught it. It's better to be rid of all of the ones in that fog, in my opinion.

[But he's not actually upset and is more amused than anything.]

We'll see more as we travel. It won't be long before my squad can take on this gym leader.

[Nuru squeaks in (faked) fear and pulls Kisame's sleeve up to hide more of herself. Samehada looks like she's contemplating a water gun but Kisame glares and she actually...stops. She's improving on the attacking without provocation front!]

... Only some. What species is that?

[Kisame chuckles.]

You again, eh? Samehada is an Octillery and Nuru is a Wooper.

Yes. Me again.

I see... "Octillery". How fitting.

You've been laying low. Backlash from your little stunt?

[Kisame just missed Tarantulas's last post due to turning off his 'gear while he got over the hallucinations.]

I liked her better without the tentacles.

Falkner uses bird-type of Pokemons. Ice, Electric and Rock types have a big advantage against them.

I don't have any of those, but Samehada does know some ice techniques. Good.

I beated him the other day. If you train enough, you can beat him.

I have no doubts that I will, given time. I'll wait until Nuru gets a little stronger; she'll want a piece of him too.
