[OOC: Because my permissions post isn't up yet, there will be no spoilers in this post except in threads with castmates.]
[The woman on the screen doesn't look happy, and there is high pitched wailing in the background. She has to raise her voice to talk over it.]
Okay! These animals that we get in the balls, what do they eat? It's been screaming

[What's up with all the helpful kids on this thing? She's not complaining but, man, they're all so friendly for teenagers.]

They eat like berries and stuff. Also more specialized food you can buy in shops, but there aren't any shops in New Bark if that's where you're at.
They're called Poekees by the way!
[Don't listen to her, she just wants more people to say it.]

There isn't one store in this whole place?
. . . Poekees?

But everyone gets a Poekee when they get here, and you can use that to catch more, and battle gyms and people and stuff. It's pretty fun, once you get over the part where you're stuck here and can't get home.

[In spite of the yelling, she takes the trail mix and crouches in front of the Togepi.]
Come on, sweetie, try this? [And the trail mix... is a success! Hot damn, Vincent was helpful!]

Hehe, well, it'll probably sound kind of weird... but if you treat them like little kids, sometimes that calms them down? Usually they eat like... berries and grass and stuff, but they'll eat human food sometimes too. [An awkward laugh. Does his tone sound kind of familiar?] But just holding them is enough to calm them down sometimes, even if they're hungry.

You know what? [She laughs, and it only sounds a little strained.] That's really not that weird. At least, compared to the rest of what's going on here. Thanks.
[ALRIGHT LET'S GO CRADLE HER LITTLE SCREAMING EGG. Who... instantly starts to calm down, what is life.]
Hey! It works!

I'm still trying to figure out what it's supposed to be... Eggs aren't sentient here, are they? [TOO WEIRD, TOO WEIRD.] I guess it's just a baby, and it doesn't know me... [She laughs.] Kinda cute, when it isn't trying to deafen me...
