This! Is Materia. It allows us to use magic and stuff in battle.

It is from my world, which is kinda why I'm a bit surprised to find it suddenly in my bag. But hey, I'm not complainin'. Whatever gods of Johto saw fit to give it back to me I'll thank them or something.

I don't know about whatever this junctioning thing is though.

Junctioning is the way most people use magic! I don't know all the specifics, but you Junction a Guardian Force, and that allows you to use spells.

You can also call on the GF, too, if you need help in battle.

Huh. Well see the different colors here. [She holds up the armful of Materia] They indicate different types of magic. The red one is Summon Materia, uhhh, I think this one might be Shiva. The green ones are Magic, things like Fire 1, Fire 2, cures, that kind of stuff. I think here I have like cures and Esunas. And the blue one is Support, this one should be All.

We have similar types of magic, though, even if they're not stored in spheres.
