[Riiiip!]

That trip wasn't so bad. Surprisingly, I got a lot of help from Kyouya-senpai. It probably wouldn't have taken as long if Tamaki-senpai wasn't so excited by everything.

[Sigh. Rip tearrrr.]

That reminds me, Senpai, when you see this, I have some shoes you can wear. I forgot they were in my backpack.

[As she speaks, there are pieces of ( Read more... )

[Naoto watches the dress get ruined for a moment before speaking]

Wouldn't it have been better to keep it in its original form? Ripping weakens the fabric.

[Not that she wouldn't do the same in the same position but...]

[Sewing together the jacket now, it doesn't look too bad considering what it's made of.]

Most of the pieces are as close to the way they were before as they can be. It's just not very practical to have a dress like this for traveling in, especially as it gets colder.

[Also she really doesn't want to give Tamaki the satisfaction, but that's a different story...]

[Well, at least she seems skilled]

I must agree about the practicality of a dress for traveling or in cold weather. I am, however, uncertain how much aid a thin dress would provide even as a jacket.

If I layer the pieces of fabric, it'll be a little better.

[She holds up the jacket as an explanation, then puts it back down.]

I'd use the sleeping bag instead, but I know I'm going to need that to sleep in.

What town are you in, or headed to? Some do have a limited selection of clothing available for purchase, though not as much as Goldenrod does. Purchasing a jacket would be a more permanent solution.

We're in Cherrygrove right now, but we're heading to Violet City soon. I'll probably buy a jacket when I get there.

--Goldenrod? I haven't heard about anything past Violet City yet. Have you been there?

Various delays have seen to it that I am still in Violet, myself, though I have heard of Goldenrod from others.

Violet is fair-sized. The tower is a pleasant place to train and there are enough amenities. It is not a city I would choose to stay in permanently, however.

Okay, and it takes about a week to get there, right?

Precisely, but that is without delays. It is possible that under adverse conditions the trip will require more time.

Hm, okay. I'll have to start getting together some supplies. Thank you for the information!
