Ah, I see. For a moment there I thought you might've been from Spain.

My-- autograph? [Leonardo laughs, a little startled by it, but he's had weirder.] Of course, if you would like it!

[He's just wandering around town when he spots the man and hears the introduction he puts forth; much confusion is to be had on Hibari's part, 'cause wasn't da Vinci supposed to be... well, dead? Oh well. Let's stalk the painter! It's not like he's got anything better to do.]

[stalking the painter may not be the most interesting usage of your time. he's mostly being awed by everything in Cherrygrove. the running water! it comes out hot or cold! and the clothes people are wearing-- is this considered fashionable?

you may hear the occasional mutter, as well, as he posits theories and facts to himself, observations about the surroundings, and occasionally mention of "I will have to tell Ezio..."]

.....

[ Who's this Ezio that the painter keeps on mentioning...? Must be a good friend of sorts. He gradually gets bored, though (seeing that Leonardo did nothing but wander around and marvel at the modern age inventions) and prepares to leave. But he thinks he'll direct Leonardo da Vinci to the shops first. Having this guy owe him a favour was probably a good idea. ]

It is likely that you can obtain your painting materials from that shop over there.

[ And he points over to the PokéMart. Well, if that's all he can help you with, then he'll begin leaving. ]

[Leonardo glances at the shop, and then beams at Kyouya. you can't leave that quickly, are you kidding? he's going to rope you into a conversation!]

Thank you, signore! I was not certain if they would cater to the artistic as well as the more useful items for this place.
