[ for once (strangely enough, he's not usually the type to want to be seen all that often), Suzaku is opting for the voice function. he's just a little too thoughtful today; it's bordering on brooding. during the feed, the faint purr of a feline can be heard, a never-ending faint rumble in the background. ]

Does there-is there anyone else here ( Read more... )

They say that time doesn't move in our worlds while we are here.

As far as I know, all the people who went back to their worlds and then returned to Johto agree on that. There is also the people who have fallen asleep and returned to their worlds for a while.

But... what about people who come from the same place, but different times? I've heard that's possible. What if they arrive from a time much later than the people who are already here? That would make the entire theory of time freezing... wrong, in a way.

I arrived to Johto about four months before my Grandfather did...
However when my Grandfather arrived, he turned out to be more than fifty years younger than when I last saw him in my world.

I'd rather believe that time freezes for each individual person, and that Johto simply loves to play with our minds by taking people at different times of their world's timelines and then bringing them all here at the same time here.

That could still be problematic.

[ if Zero (Lelouch, if his hunch is correct) is out there screwing around while he can't keep an eye on him-and stop him-then... well, he's not sure he can trust himself not to mess it up. he'd rather personally make sure. ]

[Jeanne listens quietly until Suzaku finishes. First, there's a sigh and then some words.]

I've wondered that too. However, I don't think there's anything left for me back home.

[I'm probably dead. Is the one sentence that rings through her mind.]

[ that's a little bit depressing. pauses, not sure what to say to that, exactly, without making it worse. ]

Nothing?

Last thing I remembered was being tied up to a pole that was about to be lit.

[There's a sigh.]

Even so, I'm here now, so that's all that matters to me now. I'll make the best of my time here as long as I can.

[She doesn't sound as sad now. She didn't want to make people sad because of her own problems.]

[ o-oh. well, damn. ]

I-I suppose in your case, this is a good thing for you.

Supposedly, time stops. Rather, you are picked from a point in time, and once this place is done with you, returned exactly where you were taken from.

... Myself... I'm betting on such a thing being true. After what I've learned here, I have a lot to do.

Things to do here, or when you get back? I wonder if we'll remember this place when we leave it.

I have no intention of forgetting what I have learned.

I wouldn't expect someone to want to forget that, if they can honestly say they learned from it.

I'd kind of like to know how to get to where other people come from.

[voice] usedrapidspin June 9 2011, 21:04:17 UTC
I'd never thought about that. I suppose it would depend on... whatever brought us here, to do that.

... Fair enough.
