It's for a traditional holiday where I come from. Normally there are more customs to follow, but since I'm out in the forest I had to make do with what I'd brought with me.

Well, there's a tale about two deities who become separated by the stars, but on the seventh day of the seventh month, the river of stars clears away and they're able to reach each other again. So people celebrate their union and make wishes for them to carry back up to the sky with them when they leave in hopes that they'll be granted.
