Long enough, at least, to post without being stared at while he does it. He's outside the Pokemon Center, and you can hear the Cherrygrove music faintly in the background

[For a brief moment, Light stares at the Pokegear, eyes widened in disbelief. Hearing the name really shouldn't have caught him off guard as much as it does. After all, there are three other people from his world here one of whom is supposed to be dead. A fourth was obviously not out of the question. But the prosecutor...?

Hands over his ears, trying in vain to blot out that infuriating jingle- was it really too much to ask for to be able to think in goddamn silence?- Light wracks his brains once more, trying to remember if he had seen or heard the name 'Mikami Teru' anywhere before. Police reports, case files, newspapers, anything...but the name remains as unfamiliar to him as the first time he heard it. No... Light reasons. I'm approaching this backwards. It was obvious enough from their first encounter that Mikami too, had no idea who Light was... which meant it was probably safe to bite the bait.]

Three days certainly goes by quickly, Mikami-san.

Mikami hadn't reacted to his name earlier, or at least he assumed he hadn't- text messages were appalling at conveying any truly useful pieces of information- and there's only one capacity in which Light would ever-....shit. Had he just ousted himself? Shitshitshit ...If that was the case, he needed to course correct. Quickly.]

I hope the journey wasn't too taxing. ...To answer your question, however, I've met two others from my world. May I ask who Kira is to you? [A reasonable question, Light hopes, in contrast with the less subtle question, who the hell are you? He does note that in retrospect, something is off about Mikami's tone..]
