[It takes two alarm clocks ringing in succession to finally rouse Shishido, both of them muffled under his pillow in order not to wake up his roommate. After all, even in a different world, he still has to continue training himself. It was supposed to be a normal day, as normal as it can get in Johto, and it didn't occur to him that something might go wrong as he climbed out of bed--
-- and promptly tripped.
A loud CRASH!!! followed by a string of curses fill the air as Shishido tries to adjust his eyes in the darkness, trying to figure out what in the world got in his way.
He stares blankly when he finds the culprit.]
What the hell...?
Shishido-san? Are you alright?
[Groggy, it's obvious that Choutarou's still attempting to wake up despite the loud sound startling him awake. Shishido doesn't reply immediately, just stares, before he eventually speaks up.]
Oi, Choutarou.
... Yes?
There are eggs in the room.
... Eggs...?
.... ah.

[Fast-forward almost twelve hours later, as a video feed opens up, showing Choutarou and Shishido sitting at a table in the Goldenrod Pokémon center with five, blue-purple eggs wrapped in a blanket. Two Nidoran are sitting close to them, looking rather pleased with themselves, while their two trainers look a little... exhausted, to say the least. But as Choutarou looks into the camera he attempts to smile. Tiredly.]
Hello and good afternoon, Johto. I'm Ootori Choutarou and my Nidoran and her.... partner have, um. [Man, he really should have rehearsed this earlier.] B-basically, I have four Nidoran eggs here with me, so if anyone would like one... [A pause-] Ah, they weren't exactly expected, so we will be giving them out for free; all I want is for them to find good homes where they will be cared for.
I'm at the Goldenrod Pokémon Center right now, so if you're interested and in the area, feel free to come and see me. I will also do deliveries, if necessary.
[Another pause, and with another smile and a small bow, the feed clicks off.]
