So. Uh...

Do these Pokégear things break real easy or what? I was gonna call that Kuwabara guy to see if he wanted to battle again, but it said his 'gear wasn't "in service." What's that about? Rock was lookin' forward to battling his Tyrogue again.

I've never broken mine! But...My friend Fang has. That was because a Pokemon hit it though so I think just normal things won't be able to break it!

I guess Rocky's kinda cute. It still feels weird, though. I thought Rock was a dude up until now. You're right about the tough part, though! He, er, she's got a mean punch!

W-Well we have some, but the 'gears are pretty advanced. We got like, cell phones and stuff, but they're way bigger. And they don't have video and junk like these do. Before I came here I thought we were pretty big as far as technology goes. [An NES counts as technology, right?]

Some of 'em.

Only two of mine have so far... and I know that for some of 'em, you do something specific. Like have a special stone or whatever that they have to touch.

Geez, it's like the more I learn about this place, the weirder it gets. Some of 'em change when they touch some kinda magic rock?

They don't break easily. They do that when someone's left or disappeared.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm real glad that he got to go back home n' everything, but...I was hopin' battle with him again.
