[[Today, when the gear turns on, you get a lovely view of the sky and the calming sounds of water nearby. It's a beautiful day, for those of you not outside
( Read more... )
[[Ritsu, you just made that the happiest and proudest Dratini. He is just going to chirp all sorts of happy sounds to you. Rose, meanwhile, is simply going to chuckle.]]
Dratini and Magikarp. [ And you can see her quickly flicking through the pages of her book. Or maybe not but she's looking down and concentrating very hard ] I've found them. [ She's holding the pages up to keep reading between them, making little 'uh huh' noises every so often ] Huh... they're so different. But wait... Dragon? I guess the myths went a little wrong then. [ Or not always... but they're not here so she's oblivious ]
action; because they are traveling together and i said so. :|usedwindythingAugust 14 2011, 21:16:47 UTC
[And why wouldn't John appear behind Rose a few moments later? Gotta stick to your travel buddy, you know! Stopping next to Rose, he boggles at the pile of flopping Magikarp.]
Um...
[Casey, meanwhile, is clapping and bouncing up and down a little. That's so sweet Derptini!]
[John's not sure what to think, Derptini. On the one hand, it's a very nice gesture. On the other, those poor Magikarp. Casey is very proud of you though, Derptini. So proud because you are so sweet and you are getting a hug now for it.]
Of course I wouldn't. Suzu, could you help Rose-san and I, please?
[ Suzu's tail thumps the ground in assent. As he toddles past Rose, he bends down, his great big Dragonite snout whuffing playfully at her blonde bob. Perfunctory greeting over, he makes his way to the fish and begins to load the floppy cargo up in his arms, Watanuki not far behind. ]
You know, I know humans aren't supposed to eat pokemon, but I've also never actually seen pokemon eat each other...do you think they actually can eat Magikarp?

Good afternoon, Ritsu.

[that's going to be a forever thing.]

It is no bother at all, I assure you. I am always willing to talk. So nothing to apologize for. How are you?

They are indeed. This is a Dratini, while the...pile of fish here are all Magikarp. Dragon and Water types respectively.
[[It's okay, these things take time. And there are just some things the handbook won't teach you.]]

That is about how I feel right now.

Yeah that's...that's a lot of Magikarp.
[Boggling forever. FOR. EVER.]

Yes. Yes it is. I am trying to figure out the most effective way of returning them to the lake.

Watanuki peers at the flopping pile in consternation, his Dragonite looming over his shoulder. ]
Ah...its intentions were good. [ Wise nod. ] Will you need help getting the fish back in the water, Rose-san?

They were, yes. He is very sweet...even if he may not quite understand that Magikarp do not make as good of gifts to humans as it would to a dragon.
[[Turning to him and his Dragonite, she smiles gratefully.]]
I believe so, yes. That is an awfully large amount of fish to deal with on my own. Would you mind assisting me, Watanuki?

[[She also follows, though unfortunately can only take one at a time.]]
That I'm unsure of. None of my Pokemon have ever show interest in eating others, and quite a few of them enjoy meat. I've been curious of that myself.
