[[A video today, for once shot by someone other than Rose. Why? Because Rose in busy knitting something! Something sparkly, from the looks of it. I'm glad I'm able to offer some variety for such circumstances as these.

But no, not all of them.
A handful of the Pokemon are on loan from a friend for the spirit of Christmas, you could say.
We often work closely together when it comes to breeding.

I hope you'll forgive the questions; hearing people's various perspectives on breeding is something of an interest of mine.

I don't mind the questions at all.
I'm always more than willing to discuss the subject as I also have an interest in the views of others on the matter.

Do you make it a practice of breeding primarily to sell, as you are here?

I often find myself lost in books, researching different Pokemon that I either own, or spotted while I was out that I found interesting.
I enjoy knowing about the different species around me, how they interact with and effect the environment and each other.
It assists in making sure my Pokemon are happy and healthy at the very least.
I suppose some of the interest is also born from the fact that in my world, "Pokemon" was a video game.
So seeing game constructs living and breathing - while not exactly new to me - is a curiosity to behold.
There is also a lot to learn about the Pokemon themselves that can affect breeding, which in turn is of course something to take into serious consideration.
It's not necessary to know, seeing as Breeders and Trainers alike are able to breed without problems, but knowing more about their compatibility on a more basic level than whether or not they like each other seems fairly important to me personally.

It was a video game in my world, too, though I wasn't an avid fan. Perhaps that's skewed my perspective on matters somewhat.

It would have been useful to know of the warning against staring a Shedinja in the back.
Live and learn I suppose.
I wasn't exactly an avid fan myself.
My friends all managed to get much further than I before my interest wavered and I moved on to other things.

Being taken by them was also quite unpleasant, I assure you.

It certainly does provide natural incentive to maintain a strong team, though, doesn't it?
